Unfortunately, due to the amount of people not showing up for there bookings or turning up with less numbers than booked we have had no alternative than to ask for a Non Refundable deposit for bookings.
As a small business we rely on the promptness and reliability of bookings but over time this has changed and we have started losing a lot of custom due to turning away potential bookings as we are “Fully Booked” or haven’t got the table space at that time.
We have decided to introduce a £5 per person deposit to secure the booking – this is non refundable (please see below).
The deposit is to ensure commitment to the booking — if you book for 10 people (including children that require a chair) then we ask for £5 per seat that equals £50 to secure the booking.
If all 10 turn up and eat as booked then the full £50 will be taken off the final bill. If only 6 people turn up from the booking then only £30 will be redeemed at the final bill.
We are all human and do understand things can change — if so, then please give us suitable notice so we can re issue tables accordingly then we are more than happy to refund the £5 for each person that has cancelled e.g. if a table is booked on a Saturday night at 7pm and you contact us at 11am to explain that numbers would change then we are more than happy to refund ( unless food has been ordered specially and cannot be changed) (management reserve the right to choose)
Function/marquee Bookings — To book a suitable date we require a £50 deposit to secure this. We then require full payment for your function 14 days prior to the booking.
Your £50 deposit will hold the date for you, but if cancelled 4 weeks before the booking then we will refund this — this allows us time to rebook the room.
We are sorry we have to do this but it is vital for us as a business to survive in the toughest of times.
